THE POWER OF PIZZA: HELP EIGHTH GRADE GET TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
Queen of Angels School’s 8th Grade class is heading to our nation’s capital, but they need your help. Lou Malnati’s is hosting a Fundraising Giveback Event, with 20 percent of each order’s total (pre-tax and excluding alcohol) going to our students’ fundraising efforts. Helping our kids is easy as 1-2-3!

  1. On Wednesday, April 5, visit or call in an order to Lou Malnati’s at 4340 N. Lincoln Ave. between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Be sure to mention Queen of Angels at the time of your dine-in/carry out/delivery order. (Orders placed online are not eligible for the fundraiser.)
  2. Present our Give Back Night Flyer at time of purchase. Hard copies are available in the school office, or download it from parish.queenofangelschicago.org).
  3. Double-check that your receipt says “fundraiser” so our 8th Grade class gets credit for the sale.

Easy peasy, nice-’n’-cheesy!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Can’t make our Fundraising Giveback Event or you want to relive the enjoyment of a hot, gooey Lou’s pizza at home? Buy some Lou Malnati’s frozen pizza coupons!

  1. Download and print the Coupon Order Form or get a copy from the school office. Indicate how many frozen pizza coupons you would like to buy. Cost is $13 each, or 2 for $25. Coupons are good for one sausage, one pepperoni, one cheese, or one spinach pizza.
  2. Include this form and cash/or check payable to Queen of Angels in an envelope and return to the school or parish office by Wednesday, April 5.

Your frozen pizza coupons will arrive around two weeks after April, and are good at any Lou Malnati’s location for six months after purchase.

Thank you for your support of this educational and inspiring journey for our students. Please contact KJ Bradley at kjbrad@sbcglobal.net with any questions.

Catholic Schools Week 2015

Catholic Schools Week logo, a cross inside a circle surrounded by the text Catholic Schools, Communities of Faith, Knowledge and ServiceCatholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2015 is January 25-31. Schools typically observe National Catholic Schools Week with Masses, open house and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.

At Queen of Angels, we invite all our parishioners to the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 25 in the church and to the Open House which follows in the school from 10:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  School families should see the full calendar of events listed below.
