Thank you to all who were able to attend our Advance Commitment Gathering this week for the "To Teach Who Christ Is" stewardship campaign. Please pray in thanksgiving for the many blessings you have received through our community, and ask God to guide you in how best to respond to those blessings through your support of the campaign. Commitment Weekend will be May 31 and June 1.
If you missed it at the gathering, or just want to watch it again, a video was prepared for the campaign which highlights the history and current life of our Queen of Angels community. The video is hosted at http://animoto.com/play/7k7O59Qi7HZ3PXg0zZ912g.
Thanks to the parishioners who contributed photos and edited the video, especially John and Kathleen Wannemacher, Michael Morgan, Jim Hohner, Kathleen McCarthy, Rachel Hohner and the parish archives.
All are invited to a parish picnic in Welles Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Join us for breakfast from the food truck Babycakes, a ministry fair, informal games and relaxing with your parish friends. It's BYOC -- bring your own lawn chair!
