Para Arreglar una Misa de 15 Años o una Presentacion de 3 Años

Presentations for 3-year-olds are only performed at the 12:30 PM Sunday Mass in Spanish.  It is possible for your child to be presented at any Sunday 12:30 Mass as long as 2 requirements are met:

  1. The entire family (parents, child and any godparents) must be in the church at least 20 minutes before Mass begins at 12:30.  We recommend that everyone plans to arrive by 12 noon.
  2. When you arrive, you must locate the priest who will celebrate the 12:30 Mass and give him a small piece of paper (papelito).  That paper must have the names of the parents, child, and godparents.

As long as these requirements are met on the day you would like to have the presentation, is not necessary to contact the parish office to reserve a particular Sunday.

Quinceañera Masses are celebrated very rarely due to the many other commitments of our priests.  Families and young people who would like to have a Quinceañera Mass at Queen of Angels should be actively participating at Mass and in parish ministries. Contact the Hispanic Ministry office at 773-539-3176 or parroquia@queenofangelschicago.org to learn more.

How To Obtain Sacramental Records

Sacramental Records (Baptism, Confirmation or Marriage Certificates) can be obtained by contacting the Parish Office at 773-539-7510.

For all such records it is helpful to tell the Secretary the date, as close as you know it, to the sacrament in question.  The records can be picked up at the Parish Office (4412 N. Western Avenue) or mailed to you home or to the Parish or priest for whom you are requesting the records.

Sacramental records cannot be transmitted via e-mail.  If a copy is sent by FAX and original must follow it by mail.

Plan a Wedding

Wedding scheduling and marriage preparation, in English or Spanish, should take place at least six months in advance. Please phone one of the priests at the Parish Center (773) 539-7510 to begin arrangements. This includes setting the date, meeting with one of the parish priests to complete marriage papers, reflecting on marriage, planning the liturgy, participation in one of the Archdiocesan Marriage Preparation programs and meeting with the Parish Music Director prior to the wedding.

Planning for the sacrament of marriage should be a joyous task

In order to be married at Queen of Angels church, the bride or groom, their parents or grandparents must be members of our parish community. Typically weddings are celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
