Catholic Schools Week 2015

Catholic Schools Week logo, a cross inside a circle surrounded by the text Catholic Schools, Communities of Faith, Knowledge and ServiceCatholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2015 is January 25-31. Schools typically observe National Catholic Schools Week with Masses, open house and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.

At Queen of Angels, we invite all our parishioners to the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 25 in the church and to the Open House which follows in the school from 10:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  School families should see the full calendar of events listed below.

Queen of Angels Catholic Elementary School

Please visit our school website at www.queenofangelschicago.org.

Celebrate our parish school through Catholic Schools Week, January 30-February 5, and stop by the Open House on Sunday, January 30 to register for the 2011-2012 school year.  Some ways that all parishioners can share in our children's Catholic education are by joining the Trash-Free Tuesdays green initiative, supporting the Lyman Scholarship, or collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education.
