GIRL SCOUTS HAVE BIG NEWS:
Join our Girls Scouts' Book Drive on March 8 in honor of World Read Aloud Day! Spring clean your closets and bookshelves of gently used books for all ages! We will be collecting and donating them to Open Books bookstore. Open Books is a local organization that not only finds good homes for used books, but sells them in their River North store. Proceeds go toward local writing and literacy programs. Drop off the books between 6 and 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at the Parish Center, and the scouts will take it from there!
