Your help is needed to make the 2012 Winter Toast a successful fundraiser for our parish and school. Please consider buying 50/50 raffle tickets, donating goods or services to our auction lots, or adding a bottle of wine to the 100-bottle wine cellar. The event will be from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, February 25.
50/50 RAFFLE
Give your neighbors, friends and family a chance to win big bucks with the Winter Toast 50/50 Raffle! The winner will win half of the proceeds of all tickets sold. Tickets are $10 for one or six for $50. The more we sell, the bigger the prize. Last year’s winner took home over $5,000! Tickets are available in the school office. Questions? PRIZE DONATIONS
Winter Toast has some really fabulous items to bid on. How do we get all those trips, condos, plane and sports tickets? Through the generous donations of our parishioners. If you have a vacation home, travel miles, sport and cultural tickets or gift certificates you would like to donate for the live or silent auction, please contact Amy Odwarka at amyodwarka@gmail.com or at 847-736-5446. 100-BOTTLE WINE CELLAR
We’ll be auctioning off a complete 100-bottle cellar of wine on Saturday, February 25 at the Winter Toast. But in order to make it happen, we need everyone to do his or her part. Parishioners, school parents, and any interested party over 21, we need your wine donations!
Our goal is to collect 100 or more bottles to be auctioned off as a complete cellar. If you don’t have a bottle handy and are interested in shopping locally, say no more! You can stop by LUSH at 2232 N. Roscoe. The folks at LUSH will be glad to help you pick out something fabulous within your budget. And if you shop at LUSH, you can leave your bottle right at the store. What’s more, for every ten bottles that are collected at LUSH, they will donate one of their personal favorites. Please remember to tell the sales clerk you are from Queen of Angels.
