North Side Kairos XI is looking for high school students for their leadership team. If you have attended a Kairos at your school, or at another parish, and are interested in being a leader for this co-ed, multi-parish experience, the new deadline is Friday, March 19. Leaders will receive extensive leadership training to prepare them for the peer-to-peer retreat through the late spring and summer. Applications for leaders are currently being accepted. The retreat will take place at Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House in Barrington, August 6-9.
This retreat began as a joint effort between youth and adults of Queen of Angels, St. Matthias, St. Ignatius and St. Nicholas parishes who wanted to challenge others to live in "God's time" with every breath. It continues to grow, as good things will. Help continue this tradition and offer your time as a leader for this retreat.
