RECONCILIATION OPPORTUNITIES
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered 9:30 to 10 a.m. and
again from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19; from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday,
March 21 (it was erroneously reported for Tuesday in the March 6
Guide); and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday (Good Friday) March 25. There
will be no confessions on Holy Saturday, March 26.
Finish the Lenten Season and move to Easter as a refreshed Christian.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS
The School Communications Committee is searching for volunteers to
assist with the internal and external marketing, PR and communications
initiatives that help enhance the school image and promote the school’s
presence and offerings to our target audience. If you have marketing,
writing (print and web) talents you would like to share with our

MEN’S CLUB TO MEET MARCH 17
The Queen of Angels Men’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17 in the Lower Voss Center. Future events and the election of new officers will be discussed. Refreshments and food provided. All men of the parish at least 18 years old are invited to join.
The Men’s Club is a great way for men in the parish to connect. This group is dedicated to the philanthropic needs of the parish and works hard to provide whatever assistance is needed. Most notable in their efforts is the Nicholas Feller Scholarship awarded to an eighth grader in our parish school who will pursue studies at a Catholic high school.
The Men’s Club is always looking for new members and new ideas. Give us a look on Thursday, March 17. We need you!
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE; EARLY DEADLINE
Please note that because many parish staff members work all of Holy Week to prepare for the Feast of Easter, the Parish Center will be closed to all activities Monday, March 28. The office will reopen for regular business hours at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29.
There will be an early deadline for the March 27 (Easter) Guide. All materials for consideration must be submitted no later than noon Friday, March 18. The regular deadline schedule (10 a.m. Tuesday) resumes the following week.

FREE TAX PREPARATION
Free tax preparation will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on March 12, 19 and 26; and April 2 and 9 as part of the Tax Assistance Program. Sites include City Hall, 121 N. RCYA STATIONS OF THE CROSS; “ONE NATION UNDER COD” FISH FRY
The Ravenswood Catholic Young Adults will sponsor a contemporary reading of the Living Stations of the Cross and annual Fish Fry at St. Benedict, 2215 W. Irving Park. Stations begin at 7 p.m. Friday, March 18 and will be immediately followed by “One Nation Under Cod” Fish Fry in the parish Ackerman Center. Food service will begin at 8:15 p.m. Fish, fries and a complimentary beverage can be purchased for a donation of $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and children. PEACE & JUSTICE TO MEET MARCH 15
Queen of Angels parishioners are invited to attend the Parish Peace and Justice Committee meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 15 in the Voss Center. The meeting will include prayer and preparation for parish activities to fight hunger and to support the dignity of human labor.
