An Invitation to Non-Practicing Catholics
Queen of Angels Welcomes You Home!
Can you or someone you know answer ‘yes’ to any of the following questions?
- Were you raised Catholic but do not come or seldom come to Church anymore?
- Are you a Catholic who now feels separated from the Church?
- Would you like to know more about the Catholic Church as it is today?
- Would you like to feel at home in the Catholic Church again?
No matter how long you have been away and no matter the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church through Catholics Returning Home.
Please join us for informal listening sessions and an update of the Catholic Faith facilitated by former non-practicing Catholics. The sessions are conducted in a support-group format with the topics based on participants’ questions.
The six-week series is offered twice per year. Meetings are once per week for six weeks. All meetings are held on a weekday evening from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in either the Voss Parish Center or the Church Gathering Space. The next session begins Wednesday, April 6, 2005.
Topics include:
• Welcome, Overview of the Series
• Video about Returning Catholics and Discussion
• The Church Today: Update and Historical Perspective (Vatican II)
• Explanation of the Mass
• Explanation of the Sacrament of Reconciliation
• The Creed: What Catholics Believe
If you are a Catholic who has been away from the Church for a while, this invitation is for you!
Our faith community misses you and is incomplete without you.

Parable of the Lost Sheep:
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, leaves the 99 sheep to seek the one that is lost.
And, when he finds it he brings it home and calls everyone to rejoice over finding the lost sheep… Even so, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one
repentant sinner than over 99 just who have no need of repentance.
Gospel of Luke, Chapter 15
