Palm Sunday - Next Sunday
Palms are blest and distributed at the following Masses:
Saturday, April 3 – 5 p.m. Mass – Mass begins in the lower church with
the blessing of the palms. Please gather in the lower church.
Sunday, April 4 – 8 and 9:30 a.m. – Both Masses begin in the upper church.
11 a.m. – Mass begins with the blessing of the palms in the lower church.
Please gather in the lower church.
12:30 p.m. Mass in Spanish – If the weather permits, the palms are blessed outside the church near the rectory. All gather there. If the weather is bad, all gather in the lower church for the blessing of the palms.
Please note: Masses are longer on Palm Sunday. Congestion develops as people leave one Mass and others are entering for the next.
This Palm Sunday there will be uniformed, bi-lingual Andy Frain ushers directing those leaving the 9:30 a.m. Mass, entering and leaving the 11 a.m. Mass and those entering for the 12:30 Mass.
9:30 a.m. people leave as usual.
11 a.m. attendees will wait outside, weather permitting, or wait in the lower church until the 9:30 a.m. Mass has left. Those leaving 11 a.m. Mass, will leave as usual.
Those coming for the 12:30 Mass will wait outside, weather permitting, or in the lower church in bad weather. They will not enter the church for the 12:30 Mass until the 11 a.m. Mass attendees have left. Please give your cooperation. Thank you.
